MANUAL TX MULTI C

TECHNICAL FEATURES

This remote works in three different ways:


- Entering directly into the receiver.
- Clone Mode (only for certain brands)
- Sequential mode (only for certain brands)

ENTERING DIRECTLY IN THE RECEIVER


ATTENTION: OUR DIP SWITCH SYSTEM IS FOR SELECTING THE BRAND, NOT THE CODE.

How to do it?

1. Locate the selector switch at the back of your TX Multi C. Remove the cover to access the DIP switch
selectors and hidden button.

2. Select on the brand selector of your TX Multi C the 8 DIP switch combination for the brand of your
garage door opener. (See table 1).
3. Press once the learn button of your receiver to open programmation. Please check your garage door
opener’s manual to find the button.
4. Press the button of your TX Multi C you want to use.
5. Your remote is ready to be used.

Example:
If your original remote is Genie GM3T, GITR-3 or G3T-BX in 390 MHz frequency, then on your TX Multi C
you need to select the following DIP switch combination. By doing this your TX Multi C will be compatible
with these original remotes and you will be able to operate your Genie garage door opener.

Another example, if we do another combination, like the one below, our TX Multi C will be compatible
with Liftmaster 315 MHz (garage door operator’s orange button)

IMPORTANT: IF YOUR GARAGE DOOR OPENER IS LIFTMASTER, PLEASE ALWAYS CHECK THE COLOR OF
YOUR GARAGE DOOR OPENER BEFORE START PROGRAMMING. DEPENDS ON THE COLOUR OF YOUR
LIFTMASTER GARAGE DOOR OPENER YOU MAY NEED ONE OR ANOTHER COMBINATION.

IN THIS CASE THE LIFTMASTER BUTTON IS ORANGE. YOU WILL FIND DIP COMBINATIONS FOR THIS KIND
OF GARAGE DOOR OPENER AT POSITION 2.

CLONE MODE
ATTENTION: CLONE MODE MUST BE DONE ON A TABLE. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT CLONE MODE IS ONLY
AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING BRANDS AND MODELS:

- Guardian 303RTX 303 MHz


- Guardian 303RTX 390 MHz
- Hörmann 315 MHz
- Linear DTD 310MHz (this remote takes longer to be cloned)
- Linear MCT3 318 MHz
- Marantec M3-2312 315 MHz

How to do it?

1. Locate the selector switch at the back of your TX Multi C. Remove the cover to access the DIP
switch selectors and hidden button.
2. Pull DIP switch number 2 and 7 up on your TX Multi C as shown below. This combination works for
all the brands.

3. Place your TX Multi C in front of your original remote separated each other between 3 to 6
centimeters
4. Press the hidden button of your TX Multi C for 2 seconds. Check that LED remains on.
5. Press the button of your TX Multi C you want to use to operate your garage door opener. Then the
LED of the TX Multi C will turn off.
6. Keep pressed the button of the original remote that works on your garage door opener. While you
do this the LED of the TX Multi C will remain on. Keep pressing the button of the original remote
until the LED of your TX Multi C starts flashing quickly. Remember some brands take longer than
others
7. Your TX Multi C is ready to be used.

REMEMBER THE STEPS TO MAKE THE CLONE OF AN ORIGINAL REMOTE


1. Make sure your original remote works properly.
2. Press the hidden 2 second the hidden button of your TX Multi C. The LED will remain on.
3. Press once the button of the TX Multi C you want to use. The LED will turn off.
4. Keep pressed the button of the original remote that works on the garage door opener until the
LED of the Tx Multi C starts flashing. Remember that first remains on and then will start flashing.
5. If you have any problem please watch our video by scanning.

SEQUENTIAL FLASH MODE

ATTENTION: ONLY BUTTON NUMBER ONE WORKS IN THIS MODE. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SEQUENTIAL
FLASH MODE IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THE CERTAIN BRANDS AND FREQUENCIES.

How to do it?

1. Locate the selector switch at the back of your TX Multi C. Remove the cover to access the DIP
switch selectors and hidden button.
2. Pull DIP switch number 1 and 2 up on your TX Multi C as shown below. This combination works for
all the brands.

3. Press the hidden button of your TX Multi C for 2 seconds. Check that the LED remains on.
4. Press the button of your TX Multi C that you want to use as many times as shown in table 2 for the
brand and frequency of your garage door opener. LED will flash as many times as you pressed.
IMPORTANT: wait until LED stops flashing before pressing again the button.

5. Press the hidden button of your TX Multi C to exit programmation.


6. Press the learn button of your garage door opener.
7. Press the button of your TX Multi C.
8. Your remote is ready to be used.
