Terms of Reference-CRY Internships
Terms of Reference-CRY Internships
On receipt of the above documents and review of the same, CRY may arrange for a telephonic or
face-to-face interaction with you, which aims to assess your understanding of Child Rights,
commitment, time and other deliverables.
You could be asked to submit a letter of reference from a Professor / Your College – this is
preferred as it helps CRY to institutionalize the internship process with your college.
In general, we prefer interns who are in the final year of their graduation or pursuing post
graduate studies, but that is not a criterion for motivated youth.
Compliance with Timeframe of a Minimum period of placement of 6 weeks – (10.00 to 5.00 from
Mondays to Fridays) is a must. You need to clearly state the maximum period with starting and
end dates
Internship:
• Orientation: General orientation given by the CRY team followed by subject specific
information. Post that a detailed plan of action will be evolved collaboratively with you
• Supportive Supervision: Supervision at CRY is meant to help you learn and develop
your skills and understanding of Child Rights. Your CRY mentor will guide, channelise
and structure your internship to ensure this happens
• Report Writing and Submission: This will enable your learnings to be shared with
others in CRY including volunteer teams, as well as with your college
• Participatory Feedback and Evaluation: Interns will be requested to fill feedback forms.
Certificates will be awarded upon completion of the internship
If these terms and conditions are acceptable to you, please write back to us with the documents
detailed in the Pre-Internship Processes above.
