The regular meeting of the Taylor City Council will be held on April 3, 2018 in the Taylor
Municipal Building at 23555 Goddard Rd., Taylor, MI to begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.
AGENDA
1) Call to order - roll call.
2) Pledge of Allegiance.
4) Acceptance of the minutes of the meeting held March 20, 2018 and those of the
special meeting help on March 27, 2018 and dispense with oral reading.

5) Communications from Mayor Sollars
REGULAR AGENDA
6) Motion to approve 1st reading to amend chapter 22 -Fire protection and Prevention,
ArticleII -Fire code of the code of ordinances, City of Taylor, to adopt the 2015
INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE.
7) Motion to approve Charlie Loury LLC to conduct the Fire Departments yearly
continuing education training. Fire Department Training will be PALS (Pediatrics
Advanced Life Support) all continuing education for advanced licensing and all
practical credits for said licenses. The amount for all training is $4600 to be
funded through General Fund Fire Departments Training and Transportation Account.
8) Motion to approve Dell Inc, current vendor, for renewal of 50 VDI Licenses for an
amount not to exceed $4,214. Funded through General Fund IT Contractual Services.
9) Motion to approve sending one (1) Detective to attend the Conference on Crimes
Against Women for no cost to the Department.
10) Motion to approve sending one (1) Lieutenant to attend the Great Lakes Homeland
Security Training Conference & Expo, for a cost not to exceed $1000. Funded through
General Fund Police Training and Transportation
11) Motion to approve payment to Cynergy Products, Inc. for replacement, installation
and removal of emergency equipment to new and repaired police vehicles, in an
amount of $3647. Funded through Federal Forfeiture - Treasury Funds.
12) Motion to approve payment to Plante Moran for assisting the Taylor Police
Department in evaluation of the Police Property Room procedures and controls, in an
amount not to exceed $7900, funded through General Fund Police Professional
Services
13) Motion to approve Amending the 2017 winter special assessment role by removing $222
in ordinance citation charges 23815 Koths per the attached documents.
