The Cajamarca city is part of the national heritage of Peru, known for its wide
culture and its picturesque carnival. As an important city for our nation, an image of
order, cleanliness and organization must be maintained. Unfortunately, this is not the
case, in different parts of the city, you can see the lack of these aspects, the main
problems associated with garbage in the streets, in the rivers, on the highways without
having any control; Another problem that affects Cajamarca is the traffic congestion
associated with excessive traffic of motorized vehicles transiting the city, and as if this
were not enough, the poor condition of roads, roads, shreds, etc., is added. lack of
maintenance or due to poor maintenance.
The present wording is a team work, which reveals some of these problems and
their possible solutions; In addition, additional recommendations were added.
2. PROBLEM
3. GOALS
- Field work.
PROBLEM:
At this moment we are on the banks of the San Lucas River in the city of
Cajamarca. in order to identify a contamination problem.
Good. As we can see this river passes through the city but is being
contaminated every day year after year by different types of solid waste and
garbage as for example we observe: plastic bags, disposable bottles, cartons,
tires, fuels and even dead animals .
In spite of this problematic the population does not do anything to be able to
counteract this contamination.

dead animals.
SOLUTIONS:
PROBLEM:
The accumulation of waste in different parts of the city is one of the main
problems that must be resolved because this causes immense sources of
contamination, such as bad odors and generation of bacteria capable of
reproducing diseases of all kinds. In addition, the lack of awareness on the part
of the population worsens this situation because it’s not possible for them to
even exist for garbage collection, some citizens don’t respect these regulations
and, on the contrary, they stop accumulating large quantities of garbage many
hours before the garbage collector vehicle passes. A precise example is what
we can see below.
SOLUTION:
The solution that we propose is to raise awareness among citizens about the
importance of respecting trash collection schedules, in order to maintain a city
clean and without centers ofinfection that eventually cause the generation of
diseases. In addition, encourage the population to classify their waste.

PROBLEM:
Something is happening with traffic in this city, and you can’t blame only the
growing number of vehicles that Cajamarca has been hosting in recent times.
To have a reference of this, some will remember the great congestion that was
made some days ago in the way of northern avoidance, which affected the
entire population. We can also identify the holes in the streets; the streets of the
city are a disaster. In addition, it is public knowledge that everything is
abandoned, there are streets where traveling is impossible. Not even the main
avenues are spared, where there are numerous potholes where not only does it
cause material damage but puts the integrity of people at risk, the holes have
reached alarming sizes and depths. Many drivers are obliged to perform risky
maneuvers to avoid damaging their vehicles and pedestrians must be careful
when going through the streets when they are not properly lit, as they can be
victims of an accident when falling or stepping some of these holes.

SOLUTION:
The fastest and most effective solution to this problem would be to fill in the
gaps to avoid accidents and improve traffic.
Form a partnership between drivers and citizens to submit an application to the
regional government to provide an immediate solution.
7. RECOMENDATIONS
- The citizens of Cajamarca need to become aware, and at the same time
raise new generations with environmental culture.
- It would be good to classify both organic and inorganic waste to avoid
polluting our city.
