摘要 Abstract

研究背景Background:

Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) has emerged as a major health problem and National Burden in
different countries; Inappropriate and excessive use of antibiotics are among the key factors for the
increase and spread of resistance. An effective approach to improving antimicrobial use in Health-
care Facility is an organized antimicrobial management program known as Antimicrobial
Stewardship (AMS). Antimicrobial Stewardship is part of Infection prevention and control program
in Hospital that aims to improve proper use and control of Antimicrobial uses in order to reduce
inappropriate, adverse consequences, and to improve patient outcomes.

研究目的 Purpose:

The aim of this study is to assess knowledge, attitudes, practices, and their predictors towards
antimicrobial stewardship program among of healthcare professionals in Tertiary Teaching Hospital
Indonesia.

研究方法 Methods:

Cross sectional survey study will conduct to Healthcare Professionals (doctors, pharmacists, Nurses
and Midwife), and Stratified random sampling will use with Proportional allocation to each stratum.
KAP survey Questionnaire with an anonymous 48-item to be designed to assess the healthcare
professional knowledge, attitude, and practice on Antimicrobial stewardship in Tertiary Teaching
Hospital Manado Indonesia, on July to September 2018.

預期結果 Expected Outcomes:

The study will identify the Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) toward Antimicrobial
Stewardship, the relationship of KAP, and the predictors factor may be influenced among Healthcare
Professional towards Antimicrobial Stewardship in Tertiary Teaching Manado, Indonesia.
