Task Description
Describe an engaging task that your students will complete. This doesn’t have to be a
long or complex task. Think about keeping it simple.
Students read a story from the literature anthology in WONDERS. As they read, they
write down text dependent questions an index card. Next, students meet in small
groups to have a collaborative conversation. Students take turns asking questions
and responding to other questions. Answers should include evidence from the text.

Questioning Strategy
Describe the strategy you will use with your students in order to
encourage their formation of questions during the lesson.
