April 6th Hearing Cancelled

April 5, 2018 - The Thunder Bay Police Services Board is scheduled to hear an
application from Chief Levesque to extend notice of hearing to 3 officers of the Thunder
Bay Police Service in accordance with Section 83(17) of the Police Services Act, 1996
on April 6, 2018. This as directed through a report of the Office of the Independent
Police Review Director following its review of the Thunder Bay Police Service's
investigation of the death of Stacey DeBungee.

A procedural matter has arisen and the April 6, 2018 hearing will not proceed as
anticipated. The Board is cooperating with all the parties involved to allow the matter
to move forward as expeditiously as possible.

The Board will make no further comment at this time.
