READING/SOCIAL STUDIES:
Continuing our American Revolution
Unit, students have been learning about
point of view and first and second hand
accounts through primary and
secondary sources. Students have been
dissecting primary sources such as the
Declaration of independence, and
analyzing the credibility of movies and
songs with historical content, such as
Hamilton and National Treasure.
Math: Students have been learning
about fraction concepts. They have
learned strategies to accurately model
fractions and create equivalent fractions
through models & number lines. We
are now moving on to learning how to
use multiplication and division to find
equivalent fractions and simplify
fractions.
SCIENCE: Students are learning about
the relationship between energy, speed,
and distance!
Supplies Needed
We are out of Kleenex and pencils. If you
can, please consider donating to the classroom.
