A typical assembly of a simple metal building is shown to illustrate the
synergy between the various building components as described below.

Exterior Cladding.

Secondary Framing.

Main Frame.

Wind Bracing.
Exterior Cladding provide a weather tight
envelope.

Transfer Structural Loads I.e. wind & live

loads to the supporting secondary framing.

Provides lateral bracing to the roofs purlins &

wall girts.
Purlins & girts receive loads from the roof & wall
covering & transfer to the main building frame.

Purlins & girts provide lateral bracing to the building

columns & rafter preventing lateral bulking of the
compression flanges.
Moment resisting frames provides
lateral stability & transfer the roof & wall
loads to the foundation through anchor
bolts.
Roof & wall cross bracing provides longitudinal
stability to the building.

Transfer of the wind loads acting on the building

end walls to the foundation.

In PEB System a superior corrosion protection of

a thin coating of resin applied on the top of the
Aluminium Zinc coating make Galvalume sheet.

Galvalume steel is a steel sheet product with a

highly corrosion resistance steel, aluminium zinc
alloy hard dip coating.

A clear organic acrylic resin coating is then

applied & then thermally cured.

A colour coating is given on the top surface for a

bright appearance with a colour of the
customer’s choice.

PEB System is zero maintenance & superior in

strength.

It is corrosion resistance & feature an attractive

appearance.

Steel arriving at job site is dry with no residual oil

on the surface.
PEB System has protection against non uniform
weathering.

Excellent resistant in transit to corrosion &

storage strain.

This system reduces energy loads on buildings

due to long term bright surface that helps to
retain heat reflectivity.

It is a higher level technology & innovation &

better product over conventional material. 18

The Galvalume sheet manufactured in the
workshop are colour coated & fabricated by
cutting to required length & pressing to desired
profile as per prepared drawings.

The fabricated sheets & structural members

were transported to the site of work within a
period of one week after fabrication.
The profiled sheets were positioned in roofing &
cladding & fitted on to the structure using self
tapping stainless steel screw with neoprene
washer & then covered with PVC caps of the
same colour as that of the colour coated sheets.

The roof monitor was also provided along with

stainless steel bird mesh fitted in steel frame.

The roofing system has 5 % of polycarbonate

sheets for the natural day light pass into the
workshop specially ordered & manufactured to
the same profile as that of galvalume sheet.

The roofing system in PEB is latest product &

since it is made of steel, it is easier to maintain
compared to the conventional Sheets.

It is lighter than conventional Sheets.

The colour coated steel Galvalume sheets can

also be padded with rock wool or a similar product
which can keep a difference of inside & outside
temperature by about 8 Degree centigrade which
is not possible in conventional Sheets. This
renders better comfort to the people working within
thereby increasing the productivity also.
