SLOT 3:

Managing activities
Title : Managing Activities

Synopsis :This session exposes course participants to manage activities through the given tasks. The session also enables the
course participants to improve their English language by actively involving them in preparing models as teaching
aids.Through role playing as presenters and managers of activity, participants improve their proficiency in the language.
In the second activity, participants are required to give their interpretations of the quotations given.This activity
encourages them to think critically and to be creative in their interpretations of the quotations and indirectly enables them
to think out of the box.

Learning Outcomes :At the end of this session participants would be able to
1. use English effectively to manage mathematical activities
2. work collaboratively in a group through the activities .
3. increase their level of confidence in using the language.
4 think critically and creatively in the implementation of the
activities.
