Paper
4. The students will be introduced to the site we will be using, provided above, to show
the students where to find the options to choose from later in the lesson. I will explain
that the students will be choosing their preferred folktales in groups of four. Then I will
show and explain how Voice Thread works. They will be asked to create their own
slideshow of a chosen folktale and will be asked to create their own pictures to
accompany the story being narrated by the group.
5. The teacher will ask the group to choose a folktale, read it and create a story board on
paper, a rough sketch. Then they will illustrate the story with colored pencils and scan
them into the computer and upload them into the Voice Thread program. Every one in
the group must narrate a part in the story.

7.My impressions of Voice Thread is a negative one. Out of all of the sites and programs
we were introduced to, this is by far the most challenging and pointless. There are too
many faults like, anyone could just comment on the project as another person because
they did not correctly choose their account avatar. The buttons are confusing and hard
to find. I spent a good hour trying to find the button options I needed. I was very limited
because my computer does not have a webcam or a mircophone. I would not use this in
the classroom because if the teacher is having trouble using this site then the students
will have a bigger problem. I would find another site to use for this project. Certain
buttons brought me to different areas then what I expected. I found myself becoming
more frustrated as time went on.
