To find and explain ten definitions to the word
“Ethics” and evaluate each definition to the
following yardstick.
1. Are ethics or codes of conduct merely external
sets of rules to be blindly followed?
2. Do they rather originate in the light of an inner
illumination viewed through a lens of a greater
morality?
