 Call to Order
o President Steverson called to order at 8:03 p.m.
 Roll Call
o Enough Brothers were in attendance to establish quorum.
 Guest Speakers
o There were no Guest Speakers
 Officer Reports
o Report of the President
 Rae Stremmer will be in town for Homecoming
 November 4th is the Initiation deadline
 Initiation will still be the fourth
o Rite I will be at 6
o Rite II will be at 7
 Tailgate went well
 Next game is a noon game on October 22nd
 Elections – November 21st
 Second to last Chapter of the semester
 Initial nominations are November 2nd
o Followed by online forum voting to cut down to three
candidates per position
 Men of Merit Overview
o Report of the Vice President of Finances
 Continue to pay dues
 Initiation fees are due the week before initiation
o Report of the Vice President of Member Education
 Pledge Ed will happen directly after Chapter
 Brotherhood Event
 Next week, Bowling
o Report of the Vice President of Academic Excellence
 Continue to complete study hours
Annual scholarship, Man of Excellence award - $500
 Spring class and new Associate members are eligible
 Applications are available after chapter
 An academic committee will be formed to overview applications
o Brother Laag, Brother Wess, Brother Holzberg volunteered
to sit on this committee
o Report of the Vice President External
 No mixer with Alpha Z Delta until after Homecoming
 Talladega will be discussed at Executive Council meeting
o Report of the Vice President Recruitment
 Recruitment never stops
o Report of the Vice President of Loss Prevention
 Mountain weekend signups will be circulated tonight
o Report of Mountain Weekend Committee
 Alternate houses were presented for a January Mountain Weekend
 January 15th -17th
 Motion by Brother Holz to have Mountain Weekend in January or
November
 Seconded by Brother Underwood
 12 to cancel, motion fails, Mountain Weekend will be held
November 18th 2016.
 Old Business
o Motion by Brother Levine to establish clear roles for all committees in the bylaws
from Chapter on 26 September 2016
 Motion to table by Brother Sheehan
 Seconded by Brother Potter
 New Business
o Motion by Brother Lombardo to establish a clear system for Mountain Weekend
pairings
 Seconded by Brother Cadigan
 Motioned to be tabled by Brother Idle
o Seconded by Brother Potter

o It was moved and seconded to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried
unanimously. The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:04 p.m.
