Mooneyham Alexander Mooneyham Pride Sample Iwas elected s a regional officer for Y.0.U. in May 2016 and served until May 2017 ‘when my election period ended. Y.0.U. stands for youth of unity, Unity is a national non-denominational church but as the title regional officer implies I was only put in charge of the west central region. An area which includes central California western Nevada and part of Hawaii. My job as regional officer was to plan and lead statewide youth camps, these events were held 3 times a year. One in February, May, and November. The rallies as we called them were a weekend long and were filled with singing, dancing, and group activities. As regional officer I stood on stage and directed people in the songs, dances, activities, broke them into smaller groups, and was generally in charge. I take great pride in my time with those people, and Tthank them everyday for electing me and allowing me to lead them and lear how to be a better person in that time. I take pride in my ability to plan these events and work together with the two other elected regional officers, my ability to lead and conduct groups upwards of 60 of my peers. The accomplishment was the successful completion of the 3 rallies. Every month I would, travel to Fairfield CA. and work with the other two regional officers for several days planning and writing non stop to plan every step of the event from making logos for the hirts to writing the material for the youth to use during the rally. I received no certificate or special honor for doing this, but what I did receive is everlasting memories, friends I will never forget, and confidence I couldn't live without.Mooneyham Visual for Pride Sample Do to the nature of dealing with youth related activities pictures at the event were strictly prohibited to protect the safety and privacy of everyone involved, This has the adverse side effect of me having very little visual evidence of the events other than pictures of the locations where they were held and pictures after the event was over.
