Letter of Recommendation for

Marwa Jowadi

I have known Marwa Jowadi for two years. She is a student in my Cambridge A-Level History
class this year. Last year, she was a student in my Contemporary Issues and Cinema Studies classes.
Marwa is an excellent student who combines high-quality scholarship with a mature understanding of
social and political issues of the day! In addition, Marwa is involved in many school activities.

Marwa is a remarkable writer who grasps difficult concepts in my advanced-history class. She
is capable of in-depth, critical thinking and expresses herself eloquently. We have been analyzing the
Civil Rights movement and the presidencies of Kennedy and Johnson in class. Marwa works very hard
to complete the readings, the assignments and to come to class ready to discuss, debate, and analyze
the issues that arise. I expect her to gain college credit by passing her Cambridge history exams. She
is also a leader in class. She will work with and try to inspire her fellow students to achieve more in
class especially with group projects. Marwa is always on time and rarely misses class. She is
responsible and hard working.

At school, Marwa is a member and leader in several student organizations. She is a member
of the Technology Student Association, the Pride Club, the Dungeon and Dragons Club, and the
National Honor Society. Marwa’s peers, her faculty, and her administration respects her dedication
and achievements. Marwa will be a great addition to any university and is a worthy candidate for
financial aid!
