Purpose of the Role:

To provide civil structural engineering design work from engineering feasibility study phase to the commissioning phase of the project with
a good quality of deliverables, meets company standards and National & International codes & standards. Provide technical assistant to
operational and maintenance departments for problem solving and root cause analysis.

Accountabilities:
• Comply with all PTVI and EHS procedures, standards and policies in Engineering Department project area.
• Develop conceptual, preliminary and detail engineering design for the project considering performance, constructability,
maintainability and functionality. Identify any risks, restriction and comply with EHS and government regulations.
• Develop civil and structural technical specification for equipment/materials purchase.
• Develop cost estimate in accordance with project scope of work and technical specifications.
• Create material requisition for all equipment & material required in the project assigned, review technical and bid evaluation and
propose to project engineer and project manager for the best tender offer.
• Produce tender scope of work (civil and structural), review technical bid and propose to project engineer and project manager for the
best tender offer.
• Prepare and collate civil and structural Engineering Work Package (EWP) documentation and commissioning procedure, to ensure
all aspects of construction, safety, and quality clearly defined.
• Perform periodic inspection to ensure the work is technically being performed in accordance with civil and structural EWP
requirements.
• Resolve technical issues during project execution and complete commissioning after project is completed, to ensure the project
meets the planned objectives
• Responsible for the quality, technical competence and professionalism of the engineering effort.
• Carry out engineering design using according to current practice and be able to accept responsibility for a safe and reliable result.
• Ensure project design is completed within the minimum necessary amount for engineering work.
• Maintain document records and close out EWR on project completion, to ensure comprehensive record is available for subsequent
reference.
• Provide civil and structural engineering technical support for PTVI Maintenance and Operations Department
• Cooperatively work with project designers communicating ideas effectively

Technical Specialization:
• Interaction Management skills (oral & written communication, human relations)
• Knowledgeable of engineering operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of Project Management systems and Principles.
• Basic knowledge of civil and structural engineering, including but not limited to engineering design software and manual calculations.
• Basic knowledge of multidiscipline engineering design – civil structural, electrical & instrumentation
• Basic knowledge of the Nickel Production Process – from Raw Material to Final Product and Auxiliary System
• Basic knowledge on procurement and contract administration process
• Basic knowledge of project cost estimation
• Basic knowledge in EHS system and policies
• Computer & Internet literate
• Basic knowledge of applicable engineering design standards, national and international standards.
• English language skills

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree (S1) in Civil or Architectural Engineering discipline.
• 1-2 years in Civil and Structural Engineering design on heavy industrial plant is preferable.
• Bahasa Indonesia & English language skills.
• Resident of Kabupaten Luwu Timur.
