Co-Curricular Narrative

In my first year at the University of Cincinnati, I have already been very involved on

campus. My biggest involvement has been with my fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega. I was unsure if

I wanted to do the whole Greek life thing when I came into college, but once I moved onto

campus and became familiar with it, I decided to give it a shot. I could not be happier that I did. I

have developed many great friendships and it forced me to step out of my comfort zone and meet

many new friends. I am also participating in philanthropy through the fraternity, as our

philanthropy is the Boys and Girls club of Cincinnati. Outside of the fraternity, I also was

involved in recreational sports this year, as I played on a flag football team in the fall.

In my next three or four years here at the University of Cincinnati, I plan on becoming

more involved than I am now. In the fraternity, I plan on becoming more of a leader in the

chapter, as I hope to hold an executive position at some point in my time in the chapter. I also

want to continue playing recreational sports in the many leagues we have offered to us. I also

plan on doing three Co-ops during my time here, with the first one either being in the spring or

summer of 2019. And lastly, I would like to find another club or two on campus to be involved

in to boost my resume and my involvement outside the fraternity.
