Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

o First, let the students sit on the carpet and gets their attention.

o Then show the present the picture of animal “Caraveog” and let the students say the name
of the animal together.
Whole Group

o Review the story from the beginning till where the students have been reached.
Time:

o After reviewing I will let every student get their whiteboard and marker to share their ideas
in ‘Where are they found?’, ‘What do they do?’, And ‘what do they eat? By drawing.

o After finishing each raw review the story together with the students and then let each
student go to their group and write the story over again.
Small Group

Time:
Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

o The Comics group will have a worksheet with a story


written and the student will draw what the story tells

Independent Experience (small group activity 2)

o The stories group will write on their notebook with full sentence with proper punctuation.

o Challenge them to include detail adjectives.

Independent Experience (small group activity 3)

o Diaries & poem group will write on their notebook with full sentences that including more
adjectives, start their story by using a hook, and proper punctuation.
Closing
Whole Group

o At the end, I will let the students to get a green marker to mark the words that is start with

o Comma, and point/dot.
o Adjectives, verbs, and adverbs

Assessment

o I will let the student to draw the animal ‘Caraveog’ on A4 paper and color the animal when the
student finish.
