Description of Subjects:

This course discusses: (1) system of real numbers and inequalities, absolute value, and graph
of equations, (2) limit and continuity which include (a) the limit of functions, (b) limit
theorems and (c) continuity of function, (3) derivatives which include (a) derivative level
one, (b) derivative algebraic functions, (c) derivatives of trigonometric functions, (d)
derivative inverse trigonometric functions, (e) derivatives hyperbolic functions, (f)
derivatives inverse hyperbolic functions, (g) derivative of exponential and logarithmic
functions, (4) the chain rule, (5) high order derivatives, (6) implicit differentiation, (7)
differential and approximation, (8) application of derivatives, including (a) maximum and
minimum, (b) monotonicity and concavity, (c) local extrema and extrema on open intervals.
