BOUTIQUE ORDER BASED ON CUSTOMER DESIGN

PREFERENCES

SCOPE
The scope of our project is to make user friendly application to the both admin and
customers.Our project aims at Business process automation.The application helps in lending
costly dresses with minimum cost from boutique. Order placed for designers, thereby getting the
dress based on their preferred requirements. For holy offered orders, discounts are incorporated.

OBJECTIVE
The main objective of the boutique order based on customer design preferences(BOBCDP)
project is to manage the details of Boutique,Designer,Customer,Designs,Products.The project is
totally built at administrative end and thus only administrator is guaranteed the access.The
purpose of the project is to build an application program to reduce the manual work for
managing the Boutique, designer, orders, customer. It tracks all the details about the customer,
designs, products.

LITERATURE SURVEY
A boutique is "a small store that sells stylish clothing, jewelry, or other usually luxury goods”.
The word is French for "shop", which derives ultimately from the “storehouse".
The term "boutique" entered into everyday English since the late 1960s. In Europe, Avenue
Montaigne and Bond Street were the focus of much media attention for having the most
fashionable stores of the era .
Some multi-outlet businesses (chains) can be referred to as boutiques if they target small, upscale
market niches.Although some boutiques specialize in hand-made items and other unique
products, others simply produce T-shirts, stickers, and other fashion accessories in artificially
small runs and sell them at high prices.
The"Consulting Designers Of Boutique"has been developed to override the problems prevailing
in the practicing manual system.This software is supported to eliminate and in some cases reduce
the hardships faced by this existing system in database[3].Moreover this system is designed for
the particular need of the company to carry out operations in a smooth and effective manner.
The application is reduced as much as possible to avoid errors while entering the data. It also
provides error message while entering invalid data.No formal knowledge is needed for the user
to use this system.Thus by this all it proves it is user-friendly. Consulting Designers of
boutique,as described above,can lead to error free,secure, reliable and management system.It
can assist the user to concentrate on their other activities rather to concentrate on the record
keeping.Thus it will help organization in better utilization of resources.

In the late 1990s, some European retail traders developed the idea of tailoring a shop towards a
lifestyle theme, in what they called "concept stores". which specialized in cross-selling without
using separate departments. One of the first concept stores was 10 Corso Como in Milan, Italy,
founded in 1990, followed by Colette. in Paris and Quartier 206. in Berlin. Several well-known
American chains such as Tiffany & Co. Urban Outfitters. Dash, and The Gap, Australian
chain Billabong and, though less common, Lord & Taylor, adapted to the concept store trend
after 2000.

free,secure, reliable and fast managing system.It can assist the user to concentrate on their other
activities rather to concentrate on the record keeping.Thus itwill help organization in better
utilization of resources.The organization can maintain computerized records in database[1]
without redundant entries. That means that one need not be distracted by information that is not
relevant,while being able to reach the information.

The aim is to automate its existing manual system by the help of computerized equipments and
full-fledged eclipse software[7],fulfilling their requirements, so that their valuable
data/information can be stored for a longer period with easy accessing and manipulation of the
same.Basically the project describes how to manage for good performance and better services for
the clients.

The Software Requirements Specification is produced at the culmination of the analysis task.The
function and performance allocated to software as part of system engineering are refined by
establishing a complete information description,a detailed functional and behavioral
description,an indication of performance requirements and design constraints,appropriate
validation criteria,and other data pertinent to java requirements[6].

Based on the study made through above literature survey by overcoming the issue the system is
the enhancement of further by adding the option to the customer so that they can consult the
designer and get their orders according to their necessaries.
PROPOSED BOBCDP PROJECT
The proposed system is to consult the designers and can order thier preferred designs
directly.Benefits of this project is to help customers to order thier preferred own design by
consulting the designers and can earn offer by bulk booking for religious orders. The System
after careful analysis has been identified to present with the following modules.

The above ER-diagram for BOBCDP project is described as follows:

Boutique Entity : Attributes of Boutique are boutique id ,Name and Address.

Product Entity : Attributes of product are product Code, Description, Id_no, Packing, MRP,
Quantity, date,Rate.

Religious_Offers Entity: Attributes of Offers are religious_order name,Quantity and discounts.


Consulting_Designer Entity:Attributed of Designer are designer_id, Name, Contact_no,
Address.

APPLICATION OF BOBCDP PROJECT

The BOBCDP project provides preferred designs on consultation with the


professional designers. Religious offers were also give boost for people to donate
offerings to temple etc. Hence it achieves the customer to save time and helps the
designers to run the boutique in good way.

RELIGIOUS OFFER MODULE

For bulk booking of religious things some reasonable offerings is done.. This requires
the quantity of products which is going to be purchased.IT consumes more time and human
resource in realtime situation. To overcome this issue this model is implemented.This module
produce the reports of the products getting offers for religious offerings.
