Activity The student will create Quizlet flashcards of the
basic multiplication tables using 0-12 x 0-12 as
boundaries. Student will be able to quiz themselves
at home and whenever having the complete set on
their phones. The app allows for students to create
their cards and then go back and edit them or add
more at any time, as well as put the cards on shuffle
mode so they can’t simply remember order. Quizlet
also had read aloud feature to say the numbers via
audio if the student prefers or needs to hear
problem.
Pedagogy
Students will collaborate with liveboard, which
allows any number of users on the same whiteboard
surface at once. Class will be put into small groups
and asked to create a graphic organizer like Venn
diagram or column chart to compare and contrast
the different ways to display data and give examples
of studies where each chart is appropriate. Stem
plots, dot plots, bar graphs, line graphs, histograms,
and pie charts are all available to be analyzed.
When finished, students can screenshot or save
their whiteboard work and share with the rest of the

class via the app when teacher creates class-wide

board and opens class for further discussion.
