Student Teaching: August 2017-May 2018 at Westwood Elementary School in Spring Branch I.S.D.
I have been observing classes and teaching 4th grade in a Title 1 School for almost one school year. During that time, I
have developed the following skills:
 Creating effective lessons and assessments that align to state standards
 Managing a classroom efficiently
 Implementing a classroom management plan to address student behavior
 Integrating technology into the classroom
 Creating a positive and safe learning environment

Camp Gallahue: Girl Scouts of Central Indiana: May-July 2017, May-July 2016, May-July 2015
Summer 2017: Barn Manager
Responsible for planning daily activities that were engaging and exciting for girls ages eight to
seventeen; assessing mastery of skills, re-teaching if necessary; and maintaining a safe environment.
Summer 2016: Unit Leader
Responsible for creating daily schedules for up to thirty-six girls of various ages of exciting, engaging,
and age appropriate activities, helping assistant unit leaders with safe activities, and problem solving
Summer 2015: Assistant Unit Leader
Responsible for implementing daily schedules for the girls in my small group, working with the unit
leader to arrange activities in a safe environment

Occasional babysitter: October 2016 – current


Responsible for babysitting three children, one elementary aged. My duties include developing a stimulating
environment that encourages learning through play.

Part-Time Afterschool Nanny: August 2016 – May 2017


Responsible for picking up three elementary aged children from school, helping with homework, and taking them to after
school activities. I was trusted to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the three children.

Leadership
Vice President of Ritual and Fraternity Appreciation for Alpha Chi Omega – Gamma Upsilon at the University of
Houston – January 2016-December 2016
Responsible for educating over 80 women who are members of the Gamma Upsilon chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at the
University of Houston about the important ritual and history of our organization. Also responsible for planning ritual
trainings and other holidays pertinent to our organization – such as National Founder’s Day, chapter Founder’s Day,
Hera Day, and MacDowell Month.
