As Kira’s school counselor, I have seen her take a challenging course load as well as participate in various extracurricular activities outside of school. She is a very committed student, and because of the knowledge and experiences that she has learned inside and outside of the classroom, she has developed into a well-rounded, self-sufficient, and compassionate individual. Kira is helpful, sincere, hardworking, and appreciative. She is also a positive individual; I am truly impressed by her affect. Throughout her high school career, she has participated in varsity volleyball, Sparrow Club, National Honors Society, and Student Government. In fact, Kira was elected as a senator by her peers for Gleneoe’s Student Government. Her student government class in particular has been especially meaningful to her. She has been able to come out of her shell and become confident in her abilities. Moreover, Kira’s greatest defining characteristic is the respect she instills in all those around her. Student members, teammates, and teachers alike all hold Kira in high esteem because of her genuine good nature and her ability to lead by example. With all that Kira does outside of the classroom, she has been able to maintain a 3.82 unweighted GPA due to her strong work ethic and adept time management skills. Overall, these extracurricular activities and academic accomplishments are strong proof that Kira is devoted and will commit to succeeding. Thave no doubt that Kira will experience immense suocess after graduating from high school. She shows dedication and is the type of student who will always get the job done well. She is also friendly, respectful, and gets along with people of all ages and backgrounds. Despite the fact that she is intelligent, driven, and well-rounded, she is not one bit overbearing or arrogant.
