Dear F-1 Families,
We hope that everyone had a fantastic
and relaxing spring break!.This week we began
practicing the SBAC training/practice
assessments in class. Your student has been
introduced to the tools and format of the SBAC.
Please have them spend at least 10 minutes
each night on the SBAC practice website.
Having your child practice each night is
important so that they can navigate
the assessment with ease in May.
Next week they will have
a review page for ELA
and math for homework.
These review pages
offer insight on the types of
questions and passages that
they will see on the SBAC.

Biography Project:Please refer to the
handout that was sent home this week.
This handout lists due-dates for both
the report and presentation. Also,
your child received a graphic
organizer last week and they will be
completing it in class.
If a student doesn’t finish the section
during the assigned time in class it will
be brought home to be completed as
homework. The graphic organizer will
need to be brought to school on each
due date to be checked by the
teachers. The actual
report will be completed
in class. Please do not
have your child type up
their report at home
unless instructed by
the teachers.
