Abstract:
The main objective of this paper is to find an easier and simpler method to profile a DNA in
the field of forensics.
DNA forensics:
DNA profiling (also called DNA testing, DNA typing, or genetic fingerprinting) is
a technique employed by forensic scientists to assist in the identification of individuals on the
basis of their respective DNA profiles. DNA profiles are encrypted sets of numbers that reflect a
person's DNA makeup, which can also be used as the person's identifier. DNA profiling should
not be confused with full genome sequencing it is used in, for example, parental testing and rape
investigation.
Although 99.9% of human DNA sequences are the same in every person, enough
of the DNA is different to distinguish one individual from another. DNA profiling uses repetitive
("repeat") sequences that are highly variable called variable number tandem repeats (VNTR).
VNTRs loci are very similar between closely related humans, but so variable that unrelated
individuals are extremely unlikely to have the same VNTRs.

Abstract:
This paper proposes a method for detecting frontal pedestrian crossings from image data obtained
with a single camera as a travel aid for the visually challenged. This would be mounted on a pair of
glasses, will be capable of detecting the existence and location of a pedestrian crossing, to measure the
width of the road, and to detect the color of the traffic lights. The process of detecting a crossing is a pre-
process followed by the process for detecting the state of the traffic lights. It is important for the visually
challenged to know whether or not a frontal area is a crossing. The existence of a crossing is detected in
two steps. In the first step, edge detection and pattern detection are employed to identify the crossing. In
the second step, the existence of a crossing is detected by checking the periodicity of white lines on the
road using projective invariants. Then the traffic light detector is used to check the pedestrian light and
the time display. The calculated time is then compared with the average time needed for a blind person to
cross. The observations are relayed through voice signals using the voice vision technology. Thus, this
effective technology aids mobility for the visually impaired throughout the globe.

ABSTRACT:
An important and most significant issue is the interaction between human individuals who are blind
and deaf. The facts involved in this issue are
 First case is a deaf person usually does not speak in order a blind person to hear him/her.
 second case is when a blind person speaks a deaf person cannot hear
 Third case is when a deaf person makes sign language signs a blind person cannot see
them.
In this paper we have made this communication possible by means of the technique Retinal Implantation
using BCI for the blind to see and cochlear implantation using the same for the deaf to hear. In most cases
deaf are also dumb. In order to enable the deaf to convey his messages to the blind we convert his/her
brain signals into text, which is further converted to speech. We can make use of local translators to
facilitate efficient communication.
Thus our paper presents a study on brain computing interfaces and also finds a solution for
establishing communication between blind and deaf.
Keyword: Brain computer interface, retinal implantation, cochlear implantation and speech synthesis.

ABSTRACT

Sign Writing, a writing system for sign language, is becoming a useful and convenient
communication aid for people who are deaf. Principally, people who are deaf communicate amongst
themselves and with the hearing community via text messaging on mobile phones. Existing messaging
function is limited to writing based on the Roman alphabets or pictographic languages like Mandarin;
writing in signs is deemed to be deficient in a mobile context. Hence, the aim of this paper is to examine
the feasibility of writing and reading text messages in signs as an alternative communication mean
besides SMS. Initial experimental results have significantly exemplified that Sign Writing gains well
acceptance and is preferred among the hearing-impaired community to communicate within or between
the hearing communities.

ABSTRACT:
Every science involves skill, judgment, or "art" on the part of its practitioners and the science of
Brain Fingerprinting testing is no exception. Every forensic science provides scientific data and scientific
conclusions for the use of non-scientist judges and juries, who evaluate these on a common-sense and
legal basis (i.e., a basis outside the realm of science) in reaching their conclusions regarding the facts and
the law of the case.
Investigators' need for accurate, scientific means of linking perpetrators with crime scene
evidence has inspired some scientists to ask, "What does the criminal always take with him from the
crime scene that records his involvement in the crime?" The answer to this question, of course, is the
Brain. The purpose of this document is to delineate the boundaries of the science of Brain Fingerprinting,
and specify what falls inside and outside those boundaries.
INTEGRATED DRUNK AND DRIVE & RASH DRIVING PREVENTION SYSTEM (IDDRDPS)

ABSTRACT:
As is needless to say, a majority of accidents which occur are due to drunk driving. As such, there is no
effective mechanism to prevent this. Here we have designed an integrated system for the same purpose.
Alcohol content in the driver’s body is detected by means of an infrared breath analyzer placed at the
steering wheel. An infrared cell directs infrared energy through the sample and any unabsorbed energy at
the other side is detected. The higher the concentration of ethanol, the more infrared absorption occurs (in
much the same way that a sunglass lens absorbs visible light, alcohol absorbs infrared light). Thus the
alcohol level of the driver is continuously monitored and calibrated on a scale. When it exceeds a
particular limit the fuel supply is cutoff. If the device is removed also, the fuel supply will be
automatically cut off or an alarm is sounded depending upon the requirement.. This does not happen
abruptly and special indicators are fixed at the back to avoid inconvenience to other drivers using the
highway. Further, in this paper we intend to present the designed mechanical system for controlling the
speed of vehicles in densely populated regions .Advance digital maps have the capacity for real-time
updating duly including information on areas where speed limits should be reduced due to adverse
weather conditions or around accident scenes and road-works . This paper also discusses the on-board
vision system by evaluating the surroundings of the vehicles and thereby improving the safety and
efficiency of driving .It lies on important ability for various recognitions like traffic signals , signs and
pedestrians are presented and frame work for integration of sensors and control module in a scalable
multi-agent system is provided .A sms which contains the current gps location of the vehicle is sent via a
gsm module to the police control room to alert the police. The system is foolproof and the driver cannot
tamper with it easily. Thus it provides an effective and cost-effective solution for the problem of drunk
driving and speed adaption in vehicles.

ABSTRACT:
Here we are presenting a new concept to control the speed of universal motor using paper mouse. In this
paper, paper plate is used to control the speed of motor .the signal from paper mouse is taken to CPLD
XLINX system to control the speed of the motor. The basic principle involved in this concept is static
charge discharging from our human body. Every human body has enough static electric charge, which is
discharged, when it gets a good conducting path. By using our static charge, we are going to control
electrical device. Here paper provides high quality insulation strength. To control any electrical device,
just gentle touch is enough. It is very useful and novel idea in electrical device control field. The paper
mouse is made up of ordinary note paper with copper plate. When we gently move the finger on the paper
mouse, the voltage emitted from our body is taken to high sensitive opto transistor .the opto transistors
give the signal to CPLD XLINX system to control the speed of the universal motor.

ABSTRACT

In the upcoming years the electrical energy will be the main source for world’s growth. We all
know that the consumption of electrical energy is increasing day by day whereas the resources are
depleting. Terrestrial renewable systems (hydroelectric, geothermal, ocean thermal, waves, and
tides) cannot dependably provide adequate power. However expanding nuclear fission power
would require breeder reactors, but there is intense political resistance to that idea because of
concerns about proliferation, nuclear contamination of the environment, and cost So we have to
switch over to renewable energy resources. Over the 21-st century, a global stand -alone system
for renewable power would cost thousands of trillions of dollars to build and maintain. Energy
costs could consume most of the world's wealth. We need a power system that is independent of
earth's biosphere and provides an abundant energy at low cost. In this paper we are discussing
how our natural satellite MOON can help us in such case. We have explored the space enough to
build space laboratories. It is also possible to build a power station in moon as we have adequate
knowledge on robotics. Moreover, we have construction materials in moon which reduces the
erection cost as well as the transportation cost. Moon gets more sunlight than earth and it has
abundant quantity of Helium-3 resources which is not present on earth. Here we are describing
the power production methods from Solar and Helium-3 resources in moon. Also we are
describing the power transmission from moon to earth via Microwaves.

vehicle is fitted with these and when an accident occurs, the accident location is automatically
retrieved from the GPS and sends to the authorized person through SMS and auto dialed through
GSM with the help of microcontroller. Monitoring the temperature, speed and tilting of the
vehicle can also be done. If an accident occurs, sensing will be stopped and the current values are
stored in the memory.
ADVANCED AND MORE FLEXIBLE AIR FORCE USING GPS AND SWARM

ABSTRACT

Today we know that it is high time to improve our military technology due to borders
problems. So here we suggest a new method for air force for automatic drive so that the pilot
can control only weapon select and launching, and no need for the co-pilot. Our method is not
completely automatic, we can also take the control over, but at critical situations we can give up
our control to the machine. In this method we are using GPS and swarm robot technology for
real time implementation. We are using GPS to get the map and drive the flight to the
destination; in this case we can take the control manually or can give up to the system. If we
give up our control to the system it will take the shortest possible route to the destination. We are
using swarm robot technology to avoid random motion that occurs among the same side air craft.
During that time the systems in different aircrafts communicates with each other and maintains
an optimum distance, and align themselves. Also using swarm technology any mechanically
failed fighter planes can be carried by another plane from enemy zone to their zone thus
minimizing both life and material loss on their side. Thus by implementing these two
technologies will greatly empowers the air-force for the pilots can be well trained for weapon
select and launching. They are not needed to concentrate on the route they are going or worry
about the motion path that the flights take.

POWER GENERATION USING NANOGENERATOR

ABSTRACT:
Power is always an essential attrocity, and the need for same remains an un-ending
requirement .On the wheel of development of today’s multifaceted technology, newer methods
are invented with a phenomenal pace .Generation of power is thus a technological infrastructure
that needs to be updated in par with the inventions.
Just as a machine won't run without a source of power, a device built at the nano-scale is
of little use if it doesn't have the energy to work as a sensor or drug delivery particle. Since there
isn't a battery in existence yet that's small enough to couple with a nanodevice, researchers have
sought to power such microscopic creations with energy drawn from their surroundings. This
energy so far has come primarily from chemical reactions (such as the oxidation of hydrogen
peroxide), but that may change the creation of a nanogenerator transforms kinetic energy into a
continuous flow of direct-current (DC) electrical energy.

ABSTRACT:
This paper considers the development of a brain driven car, which would be of
great help to the physically disabled people. Since these cars will rely only on what the
individual is thinking they will hence not require any physical movement on the part of the
individual. The car integrates signals from a variety of sensors like video, weather monitor,
anti-collision etc. it also has an automatic navigation system in case of emergency. The car
works on the asynchronous mechanism of artificial intelligence. It’s a great advance of
technology which will make the disabled, abled. In the 40s and 50s, a number of researchers
explored the connection between neurology, information theory, and cybernetics. Some of them
built machines that used electronic networks to exhibitrudimentary intelligence, such as W. Grey
Walter's turtles and the Johns Hopkins Beast. Many of these researchers gathered for meetings of
the Teleological Society at Princeton and the Ratio Club in England.

There are no successful devices being developed for the visibly challenged people
till date. We have obtained a concept to develop a new device that can do the work of an eye. To
start with our work we have taken Matlab simulation software as our tool and developed a few
simulation programs that can produce several outputs to drive a vibrating sensor. The output of
the camera is interfaced with a digital processor before the image is sent as a vibrating input to
the Tongue Display Unit. In-the-mouth electrodes give blind people a feel for vision. Primarily
we make the basic shapes, primary colors and boundary of the obstacles for the blind to sense.

ABSTRACT
Public awareness of security issues has been greatly increased which lead to a
massive rise in demand for personal identification system .In this paper, a new personal
verification system using vein pattern in the back of the hand is proposed. The special property
of the hand vein pattern is that the shape of the vascular patterns in the back of the hand is
distinct from each other. In addition blood vessels are hidden underneath the skin and are
invisible to human eye, vein patterns are much harder for intruders to copy as compared to other
biometric features. These special properties make it a potentially good biometrics to offer more
secure and reliable features for personal verification. This system consists of five individual
processing stages such as data collection, vein pattern extraction and shape matching. The
system captures the vein pattern images using thermal camera.

ABSTRACT:

THIS PAPER PROPOSES THE USE OF NANOROBOT BASED ON THE NANOTECHNOLOGY

THAT WILL BE USED FOR REPLACING THE EXISTING HEART BYPASS SURGERY THAT
INVOLVES SO MANY RISKS TO THE PATIENT. NO MATTER HOW HIGHLY TRAINED THE
SPECIALISTS MAY BE, SURGERY CAN STILL BE DANGEROUS. SO NANOROBOT IS NOT ONLY THE
SAFE BUT ALSO FAST AND BETTER TECHNIQUE TO REMOVE THE PLAQUE DEPOSITED ON THE
INTERNAL WALLS OF ARTERIES. THIS IS ALSO AN EFFICIENT METHOD TO REMOVE THESE
HARD PLAQUES WITHOUT ANY SURGICAL PROCEDURE. THE ENORMOUS POTENTIAL IN THE
BIOMEDICAL CAPABILITIES OF NANOROBOTS AND THE IMPRECISION AND SIDE EFFECTS OF
MEDICAL TREATMENTS TODAY MAKE NANOROBOTS VERY DESIRABLE. THE MICROPROCESSOR
CONTROL THE OVERALL OPERATION OF THIS NANOROBOT. THE MAGNETIC SWITCH IS ALSO
PROVIDED TO SWITCH ON AND OFF THE NANOROBOT AT ANY POINT OF TIME. AN ELECTRIC
MOTOR IS ATTACHED TO THIS NANOROBOT FOR ITS PROPAGATION INSIDE THE CIRCULATORY
SYSTEM IN THE BLOOD VESSELS. NANOROBOT WILL TYPICALLY BE .5 TO 3 MICRONS LARGE
WITH 1-100 NM PARTS WORKING IN COORDINATION WITH EACH OTHER TO ACCOMPLISH THE
WHOLE TASK FOR REMOVING THE HARD CALCIFIED PLAQUE. THE EMERGING FIELD OF
NANOROBOTICS IS AIMED AT OVERCOMING THE SHORTCOMINGS PRESENT IN THE TRADITIONAL

ABSTRACT:
Nanorobots are devices measured on the scale of nanometres. Nanorobots are
nanodevices that will be used for the purpose of maintaining and protecting the human body
against pathogens. They will have a diameter of about 0.5 to 3 microns. The main element used
will be carbon in the form of diamond / fullerene nanocomposites. Molecular nanotechnology
(MNT), the umbrella science of nanomedicine, envisions nanorobots manufactured in
nanofactories. Raw material for making the nanorobots would be nearly cost-free, and the
process virtually pollution-free, making nanorobots an extremely affordable and highly attractive
technology. In this paper, we are going to deal with how the nanorobots are powered, their
method of locomotion, their navigational process, control of such nanorobots and some basic
tools that the nanorobots must have to perform the functions for which they are designed. Along
with this, we look into some of the major medical applications in which these nanorobots can be
used once they come into the real-world.The main reason that makes their usage in medical
applications most necessary is their “Precision“. These nanorobots that are in nano-scale offer
precision also in nano ranges that makes them the most accurate result producers. This
application of nanotechnology to the field of medicine is commonly called as nanomedicine.
Some of the valuable medical applications in which such nanorobots can serve are in the
treatment of cancer, heart blocks, artery cleaning virus killers with many more applications still
to imagine. Its even imagined that a nano robot has the power to bring back the dead persons
alive!

ABSTRACT:

The concept goes like this: When a patient’s heart stops beating, but before the structure
of his brain starts to degenerate, the patient is attached to a heart –lung machine and
progressively infused with ‘antifreeze’ and other cellular stabilizers and then his body
temperature is lowered until the patient is at ‘liquid nitrogen temperatures’. At this point, all
molecular change stops indefinitely and the patient are put in storage. When the nanotechnology
cell repair devices become available, the fatal disease that caused ‘death is reversed, the anti-
freeze toxicity is removed, and the patient is warmed back up alive and well.In cryonics-
freezing people fore future – scientists take patients who have been labeled as ‘dead’ by current
medical criteria, replace their blood and much of their body water with chemicals to inhibit
freezing damage, and preserve them in liquid nitrogen at (-196 Celsius). At that temperature all
molecules in the body are locked in solids can no longer move around to react. Thus the
individual can remain unchanged for thousands of years. It is possible that frozen patients will
repairable and relabeled as ‘potentially alive’ by using nannies

Abstract:
This paper focuses a new way of approach to find the solution for the artificial intelligent braking
system in train using the fuzzy logic controller. Here we are designing the fuzzy logic controller using
fuzzy logic tool box in mat lab software. The main function of the fuzzy logic controller used here is to
automatically stop the train in each station without any manual procedure of stopping the train. Generally
the Indian railways use two drivers to operate a train. In this paper the usage of fuzzy logic controller
reduces the number of drivers to one. The fuzzy logic controller in train gets activated about 500m from
the station so that the train stops at the station smoothly and automatically. The fuzzy controller takes the
decision with reference to the speed and distance of the train.

ABSTRACT

“Equal opportunity is good, but special privilege is better”, thus the visually challenged
people are the most unfortunate people who bare darkness throughout their life time. Chess is a
mind game that goes beyond sight. Perhaps the only universal game that the visually challenged
can play against sighted persons on an equal footing. In the conventional boards present today
the visually challenged need to ‘see’ through ‘touch’. ROBOTIC CHESS is an electronic, robotic
hand based chessboard that makes the game played easier and quicker. The main feature of this
project includes Coin movement and cancellation using special keyboard input, coin
identification using bar code technique and move identification using speech recognition. A
simple programmable robotic arm is utilized in doing the necessary actions commanded by the
user. The special 4*4 keyboard containing A to H and 1 to 8, is used in giving the inputs by the
visually challenged for conveying the movement(as trained),which is sensed by the
microcontroller which in turn would process it and makes the robotic arm to do the
corresponding action. In the coin identification process where the position of his own or
