Thư Mời Tham Dự Đại Lễ Phật Đản lần thứ 2642 - 2018
Kính gởi chư Tôn Đức Tăng, Ni, và quý đồng hương Phật tử,

“Cúi đầu lạy đức Thế Tôn

Đạo Sư tuệ giác sáng soi nhiệm mầu
Chúng con tha thiết nguyện cầu
Hòa bình, thịnh vượng liên Châu nối liền.”

Như chúng ta biết đức Phật Thích Ca Mâu Ni, Người sáng lập ra đạo Phật, đạo giác ngộ và hòa
bình cho số đông ngay trong cuộc sống hiện tại, xuất hiện trên thế gian này hơn hai mươi sáu thế kỷ qua.
Nơi nào đạo Phật được truyền bá, nơi đó người dân địa phương sống hòa bình, hiền, và thiện ra nếu họ
cùng nhau học, hiểu, thực hành, và áp dụng Phật pháp vào trong đời sống hằng ngày để góp phần đem lại
an vui và hạnh phúc cho chúng sinh trên khắp hành tinh này.
Năm nay, Chùa Pháp Nhãn1 có duyên lành cung thỉnh quý Thượng tọa Thích Tâm Đạo, Thích
Tâm Tín, Sư Chú Pháp Luân, Bhante Surasit, Bhante Nanda, Bhante Rahula, và Sư Cô Hạnh Minh
tham dự đại Lễ Phật Đản và giảng dạy Phật pháp.
Kính mời quý Phật tử đồng hương dành chút thời gian về Chùa tham dự Đại Lễ trọng đại này.

11:20 am: Tụng Kinh Phật Đản và Lễ Tắm Phật
12:00 am: Cúng dường Trai Tăng và dùng cơm thân mật
01:00 pm: Văn nghệ Phật Đản
02:00 pm: Làm Lễ QUY Y và truyền 5 Điều Đạo Đức2
03:00 pm: Hoàn mãn

As we know the Sakyamuni Buddha, the Founder of Buddhism, the path of enlightenment and
peace to the many right in the present life, has appeared in the world for over the past twenty centuries.
Wherever Buddhism has been spread, there people live more peacefully, gently, and better if they
together learn, understand, practice, and apply the Buddhadharma into their daily lives to contribute to
bringing fruits and flowers of peaceful joy and happiness to living things and living beings all over the
planet.
In this year, Phap Nhan Temple3 would like to invite Senior Venerable Monk Thich Tam Dao,
Venerable Thich Tam Tin, Novice Monk Phap Luan, Bhante Surasit, Bhante Nanda, Bhante Rahula,
and Venerable Nun Hanh Minh to attend the Buddha’s Birthday and share the Buddhadharma.
Please spend your free time attending this major event.

10:00 am: Read the Vesak message
10:20 am: Dharma talk about meanings of the Buddha’s Birthday
11:20 am: Chant the Vesak Sutra, perform the Ceremony of bathing the newborn baby Buddha
12:00 am: Make offerings to the Sangha and have a cordial lunch
01:00 pm: Performance of the Vesak songs
02:00 pm: Perform the Ceremony of Taking Refuge and transmitting Five Ethical Trainings4

turn left, onto FM 812, turn left, onto FM-2430 (also Mesa Dr). turn right, onto The Ranch Road, the Temple is on the left hand side.
