To Whom It May Concern,

As the Coordinator of the Solano County Chapter of Project Linus, it has been by pleasure to work with
Amanda Ursini.

Amanda joined our organization to help make a difference for local children who are experiencing
trauma. We create hand-made blankets to bring a little security to each child. In order to do this,
Amanda came to meetings, learned to crochet and create blankets.

However, besides making blankets, Amanda stepped in when I needed more assistance. She helps get
our blankets ready to be delivered to the many children and groups throughout Solano County.

I’ve watched as Amanda works at each meeting labeling blankets, getting them folded and wrapped,
then sorted by size. At recent meetings, when we were short-handed, Amanda saw where I needed
help and was there, without even being asked. She has become one of the few Blanketeers I trust to
make deliveries of blankets to local hospitals and other organizations.

I appreciate the leadership I have seen in Amanda and continue to look forward to working with her.

Best Regards,

Laura Proctor
