Objective: Learn about angel investors and how angel investor networks
function. Look at certain characteristics of angel investors that are associated
with superior investment returns.

In Class Discussion- AngelList:

1. What is AngelList? How did it come into being? What website did they model
their website after?
2. Is posting a company proile on AngelList easy? Could any person that wants to
invest load a personal profile on AngelList?
3. At the time of the case, did Angellist have revenue? Why? How did they structure?
4. How does the site screen companies?
5. At the time of the case, there were about 188K company profiles. How many did
the founders indicate were likely high quality fundable startups?
6. At the time of the case, there we about 18K accredited investors on Angellist. The
majority were angel investors. What percentage were VC’s?
7. Over the past few years, there have been some dissenting investors that removed
