Objectives:

+ Understand how to respond in different bullying situations

% PF scart the PowerPoint and introduce the term “Bystander”, Ask the students
ye if they have ever heard of that word or know what it means
Show the students the definition and brainstorm what they think people
should do if they witness bullying
Go through the steps of what to do if you witness bullying and how to decide
if you need to get an adult to help
+ Ask the students what they think an upstander is
Go through the definition and explain why it’s important to have upstanders
Introduce the four-corners activity to the students. Read each situation out
loud

If you do not want to do the four-corner activity, you can give each student a
Bystander Situation worksheet and have them write down what they would
do after reading the situation out loud. You can alse have students break out
in to groups and discuss what they would do using the Situation Cards
* Once the activity is done, discuss or have students write answers to the
Pe reflection activity
