Morning Meeting:
Participating through songs using gross and fine
motor skills, as a form of behavior modification.

* Blending phonetical sounds of letters Aa, -Zz,
along with short and long vowel sounds (A, E,
I, O, U)
It’s that time of year again, testing time. We
will begin our testing for grades 2nd-4th this
week and the next two weeks until the
completion. We will be running an
abbreviated schedule for the next two weeks.
Functional Skill Vocabulary: (Identifying
Restroom signs based on gender)

The first step in performing well on
standardize test is a good night sleep. Please
remember to put your student to bed at a
decent time.
A good night’s sleep can work wonders for the
brain.
**Please practice the following skills at home.
* Writing first and last names.
*While riding in the car, skip count with your child,
2s, 5s, and 10s
*Practice with your child, reciting his/her birthday,
using numbers, daily.
*Remember to read to your child for at least 10-15
minutes each night.
Homework
We will have homework nightly with the exception of
Fridays.
SNACKS
May I suggest that you purchase fresh fruits, fruit cups,
baked chips, and water for our snack time. There are a lot
of nutritious choices on the market.
Fun Fridays
Fun Friday will be on Thursday of this week, begin at
1:30pm.
If you would like to donate any items, please contact
me no later than Wednesday.
*Students must be in uniforms during school hours at all
times, unless otherwise noted, via home communications.
