CCN #18059917 – PUBLIC NARRATIVE

Officers were flagged down by an unknown person who stated that there was a firearm on the ground in the 600 block of 15th street. Officers
observed an object on the ground. Upon further investigation, officers determined it looked like a firearm and called CSU to come process the
recovery. No one saw who dropped the firearm or how it got there. The pistol appeared to be fully functional, operated by one hand, and is designed to
expel a projectile by means of an explosion
