Universal Design for Learning (UDL):

To enhance their learning, I will address Universal Design for Learning principles in such way that allow
student to engage in their lesson during lecture. Through Kahoot! Game activity plan I will let student to
experience their comprehension level. To extend and support the learning experience for all student I will add
the image for student who have special needs and have trouble in recalling memory or hearing disability.
Each student can answer question in their own pace using their devises and able to view their assessment
with additional hint for further improvement. To build their self -esteem, sharing different strategies to
remember their lesson, I will put let them in group of three, where they can encourage each other to
prepared with more positive attitude and build confident among themselves.

Describe the instructional activities that will occur PRIOR to the SRT activity and how you will introduce
the SRT activity.

Prior to the start of the activity, student will learn all about their unit, based on standard and grade level. This
activity will guide student how to implement their lesson for memorizing information and to go over their
result for quizzes purposes. To introduce Student Response Tool activity, I will provide each student their own
electronic devices such as computer or iPad to input their response in Kahoot! That I have created for them.

Describe the purpose of the SRT activity (check all that apply):
☒ Assess prior knowledge ☒ Anticipatory set (Create interest in a topic) ☒ To illuminate common
misconceptions ☒ Formative assessment of content knowledge (for purpose of differentiation and
mastery for ALL students) ☐ Summative assessment of content knowledge ☒ Test preparation
☐ Survey/Poll ☐ Discussion starter ☐ “Homework” collection ☐ Other (please explain):

Briefly describe what will happen DURING the SRT activity

During the initial student response tools and data that I have collected from Kahoot! Game, student, and
teacher both can view the result and make changes accordingly to improve their area of subject in learning
material. After the second attempt I will get more specifically response for student who need additional time
or help.
Type of questions/prompts used in this activity (check all that apply):
☒ Multiple choice ☒ Multiple select ☐ True/False ☒ Yes/No
☐ Short open-ended response or fill-in the blank ☐ Longer open-ended response

If you are unable to provide a working sample of your questions, please list them below (8-10):

Right/Wrong answers: Will there be right/wrong answers to these questions?

☐ Yes ☒ No
☐ Mixed (Some will have correct answers, other will not.)
Immediate corrective feedback: Will you pre-select correct answers to some of all the questions and display
correct response to the class after the SRT activity?
☒ Yes
☐ No
Why or why not?
To guide them why their answer was wrong or correct more specifically.
Describe what will happen AFTER the SRT activity?
After the student response activity and data that I have collected from Kahoot! Game, student, and teacher
both can view the result and make additional changes to further enhance their speed in reading and
vocabulary words for completing their test more promptly.
How will the data be used?
The data will be collected as a result from this activity will be used to assess progress of each student that
relied on content standard. The data will be used as feedback to improve instructional strategies for
understanding the concept of the content. Student who achieved most points will get extra time for recess or
receive bonus point. Based on their progress, I will involve their parents to help them monitor their practice
after school as well. I will discuss the aggregate, anonymous data with whole class to help learn about the
outcome of their result based on average category.

Describe your personal learning goal for this activity.

My personal goal to use this activity is build their confidence in answering questions and give them
opportunity to judge their own result and help them in processing the information by doing multiple practice.
Elementary student often takes other perspective very seriously instead of thinking logically. Therefore, with
this activity they can improve their abstract thought and learn to solve problem as well. I hope with this type
of response I will able to make connection with my student, where they need to improve their lesson plan to
gain further knowledge.

Reflective Practice:
I feel that activities I have create can impact student learning by letting them practice improving their learning
process and skills. To further extend the lesson I will guide their parents in creating their own personal
account and download the app of Kahoot in their iPad or cellphone in gaming format. This will enhance their
knowledge and letting them prepare for next grade level as well.
