Example
To set the basic handover control parameters of the cell (Index Type = BYID;
Cell Index = 0;
Current HO Control Algorithm = HOALGORITHM2), run the following command:
SET GCELLHOBASIC: IDTYPE=BYID, CELLID=0, HOCTRLSWITCH=HOALGORITHM2;
Set Device Attributes of TRX(SET
GTRXDEV)
Function
Note
1. The maximum power level of BTS3001C and BTS3001CP is 13. The maximum power level
of 3900B is 12. For other types of BTSs, the maximum power level is 10.
2. Power of the BTS3006C can be 20 W or 40 W. In addition, if the cell where the TRX resides
supports the DCS1800 or PCS1900, the TRX power can be 63 W; if the cell does not support the
DCS1800 or PCS1900, the TRX power can be 55 W.
3. For the BTS3001C and BTS3001CP, the value of "Shut Down Enabled" must be "ENABLE"
and cannot be changed.
4. For a non-double-transceiver BTS, you cannot modify the value of "Receive Mode" or "Send
Mode". For the BTS3006C, the value of "Send Mode" cannot be the default value, "1", or "2",
and the value of "Receive Mode" cannot be the default value. For the BTS3012 and
BTS3012AE, the values of "Receive Mode" and "Send Mode" cannot be default values.
5. The power fine tune is only supported by an EDGE TRX (four types in total) of the BTS3X,
the DTRU, DDRM, and QTRU of the BTS3012 or BTS3006C, the EDGE TRX of the BTS3012
combined group, and the RXU TRX of the DBS3900 GSM, BTS3900 GSM, BTS3900A GSM,
DBS3036, or BTS3036A. In addition, the value of "Power Finetune" plus that of "Power Level"
cannot be greater than 20 dB.
6. For the BTS3002C, BTS3001C, and BTS3001CP, the value of "Shut Down Enabled" cannot
be "DISABLE".
7. If a cell does not support the EDGE TRX, the value of "TRX 8PSK level" must be "0" and
cannot be changed.
8. The "Shut Down Enabled" parameter can be set to YES(Yes) for double-density TRXs only.
This setting cannot be applied to BCCH TRXs, antenna hopping TRXs, or TRXs carrying static
PDTCHs.
9. If a DRRU is configured with two TRXs and the power type of a TRX is 30 W, 25 W, or 12
W, the DRRU must be configured with Double feeder [2TX + 2RX] or Double feeder [2TX +
4RX].
10. If a board is configured with two TRXs and Single feeder [1TX + 2RX], "Power Type" of the
TRX cannot be set to a great value (45 W for GSM900/GSM850 and 40 W for
DCS1800/PCS1900).
12. Please click TRX POWER REFERENCE to refer to the trx power configuration reference.

Example
Use this command to modify the basic Parameters of the GSM internal cell.
Note
1. The cell can support GPRS only when it is configured with a Gb interface board and a DPU
board.
2. If the cell supports the adjacent cell of EDGE, NC2, NACC, PACKET SI or PCU64, it must
support GPRS.
3. If the cell is modified to not support GPRS, it will not support EDGE, NC2, NACC, PACKET
SI or PCU64 adjacent cell.
4. The following types of base stations support the high-order modulation power increase
function:

Note
1. When the cell broadcast service is supported and the CBCH is CBCH+SDCCH8, the value of
"Num of CCCH blocks Rsved for AGCH" cannot be smaller than 1.
2. When the CCCH is configured as a combined CCCH, the value of "Num of CCCH blocks
Rsved for AGCH" ranges from 0 to 2. Otherwise, it ranges from 0 to 7.
