Dear Praying Friends and Supporting Churches,

New York: The first three months of 2018 have been very exciting. We have seen many visitors come to
church. People have been bringing friends and relatives, and we have seen many of them saved. One of the
most exciting things to happen was the baptisms of ten people over the last three
months. One of the older church members said to me, “In all my years of attending
church, I haven’t seen a church with this much excitement going on.” Nothing is
more thrilling than to see people getting saved and baptized and growing in the Lord.
Truly, to God be the glory! On Tuesday nights, we are holding a discipleship with
the couple pictured. My daughter goes with me and watches their two girls.
One Friday night in March, we held a Teen Tri-State. The building was packed with
teenagers from New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. My brother, Evangelist Jereme
Lewis, came up from Texas to preach the meeting. He also preached for us on
Sunday as we held our first ever Friend Day. The church people really worked hard
to bring out visitors, and we were all excited by the great attendance that day.
In the last month, the church plant has made steps towards organizing. The
paperwork is underway, and the target date for becoming autonomous is in June.
Next week, the church plant will hold its first Missions Conference. This is an
exciting step as we begin to support our own missionaries.
Philippines: On April 3rd , our daughter Victoria left for the Philippines. She will be
there for two months helping with the camp skit and staffing at camp. This is an
exciting time for her as she gets to return to her home and visit all the friends that
she left behind. My wife and I will be leaving for the Philippines on April 19th. We
will be there for three weeks. I will be directing the 8th Commonground Baptist Camp
with the help of North Cebu Baptist Church and the Baran family. Camp week is
April 30 - May 4, and we would appreciate your prayers that the Lord would touch the
heart of the many teens who will be attending.
We appreciate the continued support through prayers and finances. Your giving allows
us to continue to invest in the camp ministry and church planting in the Philippines.
