We will begin Chic-Fil-A Spirit Nights focusing on strengthening our strategies and preparing for our transition to 5th grade. May 4th - STEM Day @ Woodland Writing - In writing, your students will explore forms of writing that will hook their interest. I am planning to dive into persuasive essays in the coming May 7th-11th - BOGO Book Fair week. This writing will be integrated with the work we are doing in our social studies unit as well as other May 18th - Field Day subjects. Social Studies - We have some major ground to May 24th - Last day of cover in social studies. Your students left off on school/Report cards go home Westward Expansion before spring break. Now, they will get a chance to continue along our journey in exploring *Remember that attendance to the Civil War. We will follow this with Reconstruction school events earns you PAW and then close out the year with personal points on your PAW Pact card!* finance/economics.
