To Whom It May Concern:

As the former Principal of Merced High School, it is my great pleasure to offer this letter of
recommendation for Ms. Tamara Randall, English Language Arts teacher and Theatre Arts
instructor with the Merced UHSD. Although I only worked with Tamara for a short time, I was
able to observe her outstanding personal qualities and intellectual abilities that made her an
excellent person to have on my staff. I consider Tamara to be an outstanding professional.

Since the 2013 school year, Tamara has served Merced and El Capitan high schools as an
outstanding English Language Arts teacher and a dedicated Theatre Arts instructor. Tamara has
also established herself as a purely positive and well-liked staff member. Tamara's classroom
environment is well-developed and she exhibits a high level of professionalism, compassion, and
integrity in dealing with others. I have found Tamara to be a highly motivated and competent
person who has demonstrated positive and supportive interaction with students, parents and
staff members. Tamara has also shown strong leadership in her interaction with colleagues
during El Capitan's daily collaboration program. An effective Professional Learning Community
(PLC) member is an individual who consistently applies leadership skills in support of school
programs and school culture, while at the same time maintaining an academic focus for all
students. In my opinion, Tamara has those leadership skills. Tamara's organizational skills are
highly developed, allowing her to manage the various daily tasks of a busy classroom instructor.
Tamara's work ethic and professional demeanor will maintain high standards that have been
developed at any school and, in my opinion, enhance them.

One of Tamara's greatest assets is her interpersonal skills. Tamara has an outgoing personality
and is able to interact, both socially and professionally, with others. This ability allows her to
communicate clearly with teachers and staff members, students, and most importantly parents.
Although somewhat brief, my professional experiences with Tamara have been very rewarding
and I have learned to appreciate her tireless efforts toward improving students' educational
experiences. Tamara has truly been a great colleague and indeed it saddens me to think about
losing her talents and contributions. Therefore, it is without hesitation that I recommend Ms.
Tamara Randall for your consideration. Thank you.
