Director General (Security) WAPDA Sub: Monitoring Mechanism for Recruitment WAPDA has circulated a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP-2018), through this office letter No. DG/AD(E.1A)/7038/S0/PTS/2496-2635 dated 07.02.2018, vide which the guidelines have been issued for recruitment in WAPDA, against posts in BPS-01 to 15 and BPS-16 and above. 2. Monitoring Mechanism: The following Monitoring Committees have already been constituted, vide this office letter No.DG(S&GA)/AD(E.1A)/ 7012/37/ 4182-51 dated 07.11.2007 and fuillier ainended vide this office letter No DirfAD(E.1A)/7012/37/52-67 dated 05.05.2009 and even No.27015-145 dated 01.09.2009, to monitor the recruitments in WAPDA formations for ensuring fair and transparent selection:- @. Terms of Reference The following revised Terms of Reference (TORS) shall be observed for all recruitments made in the light of SOP-2018 in WAPDA: (1) Quota calculation scrutiny as per prevailing instructions (2) Fulfilment of Qualification parameters as defined in the Service Rules. (3) Adherence of proper procedure and guidelines as laid down in the Recruitment Policy, WAPDA SOP - 2018, and amended channel of recruitment have been observed. (4) Regional/Provincial, Employee Children, Women, Minority, Disabled Persons or any other quota, prescribed from time to time, have been observed. (8) Merit lst, prepared by the Selection Board, is fair and transparent. (©) Complaints, if any, regarding the recruitment are properly looked into (Any employee/persons found involved in mal-recruitment has been taken to tack (8) Whether NOC before initiating the recruitment process has been obtained from office of the DG (HR&Admn) WAPDA for all posts BPS-1 and above. 3. All the above committees will submit their reports in the light of above TORs, on receipt of appointment cases, to concerned offices for information and further action 4.
