You must take into consideration:
Sunlight
Watering
Planters
Soil

SUNLIGHT

Most succulents need anywhere

between a half day to a full day
of sunlight

In regions that tend to be more

hot, it is important to give them
just some afternoon shade.

WATERING 4.

Succulents do not enjoy being

too wet, so only water after the
soil has gone dry.

When watering though, it is

important to water thoroughly.

PLANTERS
Because succulents do not enjoy being wet, make
sure to use a pot that has a drain to allow excess
water to drip out.
If the planter does not have drain, you can put rocks
at the bottom to allow drainage.
Ceramic and clay pots are also useful for a plant’s
breathability.
SOIL
Important to have well draining soil.
Can be helpful for growing if soil fits the plant’s needs better. For
example, some succulents do better in a soil that includes small
amounts of sand.

A succulent can be wonderful addition to your home or yard, but there are a few things
to keep in mind when caring for one.
