Strengths of the lesson:
Ayesha planned lesson well. She had differentiated activities for the students.
Differentiated worksheets enabled students to work independently and to test what they
learnt. She has a good rapport with the students and they are eager to participate in the
lesson. Students were actively engaged in the lesson. She explained the concepts well and
checked on each group to see that they understood what was expected.
Areas for development:
The activities went on for a little too long. Instead of using all students to measure their
heights, maybe a few should have been selected. Each activity should have had a few
students participating to model to the class. In this way all students take part but for
different activities. So, be careful of time management.
