Pump 2 pressure: Disconnect A solenoid leads (see page 20 )on both feed sections,
Disconnect P1 solenoid on carrier
press feed forward and record pressure
P1 and P2 pressure should be carrier main relief valve pressure
Carrier horse power check: connect all leads and run feed rollers at full speed forward and record
pressure
Min pressure approx 150 Bar
Setting the Rexroth port relief pressure when functions have a L.S relief
Note: L.S relief setting should be at least 20 bar lower than the port relief setting
Note: the different sound that the L.S relief makes to that of the port relief

Figure 6
The Top Delimb proportional valve controls the L.S pressure for the Top Delimb close function
This enables the controller system to change the pressure depending on tree diameter when feeding the
stem and to limit the maximum pressure when grabbing and sawing.
Operation of valve: O A current = Low pressure 1.0A current = High pressure
Check the operation if pressure will not rise,
1. Disconnect L.S drain line from Top Delimb close A and plug hose
2. Check internal o-rings on Top Delimb proportional valve for bypass
3. Check solenoid coil operation
4. Check control system settings

The Drive Arm proportional valve controls the L.S pressure for the Drive Arm close function
This enables the controller system to change the pressure depending on tree diameter when feeding the

Note: Listen for bypassing oil at the drive motors if the pressure is low. Check motor seals if a bypass noise is
heard
Note: If there is excessive wheel spin under low load check the operation of the 2 fixed motor reliefs and check
valves
