Open Satco service program for plus1 measuring

Select Cab Settings

Press upload to load settings from cab module

Change the RAMP_FWD and RAMP_REV settings to remove any cavitation from the feed motors

Press download to send these new settings to the cab module

The smaller the value the longer the ramp time

Settings should be approx 50-65

Current Software from May 2011 feed ramp is adjustable from the operator screen

Main Pressure from Carrier

Fit gauge to the P port on Inlet section 0-400 bar

Pump 1 pressure: Close delimb arms and record pressure

Pump 2 pressure: Disconnect A solenoid leads (see page 20 )on both feed sections,
Disconnect P1 solenoid on carrier
press feed forward and record pressure
P1 and P2 pressure should be carrier main relief valve pressure

Carrier horse power check: connect all leads and run feed rollers at full speed forward and record
pressure
Min pressure approx 150 Bar

Setting the Rexroth port relief pressure when functions have a L.S relief

Check the pressure as per the functions listed

Increase L.S pressure setting by 1 full turn clock wise
Pressure should now read the port relief setting
Adjust the port relief to the correct setting
Reset the L.S setting to the correct setting

Note: L.S relief setting should be at least 20 bar lower than the port relief setting

Note: the different sound that the L.S relief makes to that of the port relief

Figure 6

The Top Delimb proportional valve controls the L.S pressure for the Top Delimb close function
This enables the controller system to change the pressure depending on tree diameter when feeding the
stem and to limit the maximum pressure when grabbing and sawing.
Operation of valve: O A current = Low pressure 1.0A current = High pressure
Check the operation if pressure will not rise,

1. Disconnect L.S drain line from Top Delimb close A and plug hose
2. Check internal o-rings on Top Delimb proportional valve for bypass
3. Check solenoid coil operation
4. Check control system settings

Saw Oiler Operation

If the chain bar oil runs out it may be required

to bleed the oiler pump
1- Loosen 2 x check valves with 1” spanner
until oil runs out around the thread
2- Tighten 2 x check valve
3- If oiler operation is slow check the screen
in the brass fitting mounted on the oiler pump

Figure 34

The chain bar oiler operates with pressure from the saw bar out operation and returns with the saw bar
return operation
This operates a piston pump inside the oiler pump which displaces chain bar oil
