SMK TAMAN TUN FUAD KOTA KINABALU

1.0 INTRODUCTION

English activities are fun ways to expose students to English language usage in school. Its help
students to improve their English and expose them to different skills in learning English. Both
spelling bee and writing competition activities are example of ways that encourage students to
gain fun and useful experiences in learning English. Spelling bee is aimed to enrich students’
vocabulary and indirectly increase the students’ writing. Meanwhile, writing allows us to
communicate our message with clarity and ease to a far large audience than through face-to-face
or telephone conversation.

2.0 OBJECTIVES

The objectives of spelling bee are to enable participants to:
1) Develop students’ vocabulary and spelling
2) Spell correctly and confidently in the English language
3) HOTS - Think critically and creatively in English

Time: 10.00 am – 12.00 noon
Venue: Library , SMK Taman Tun Fuad
