“Literature” the word is like magic to me, which has been making my life more beautiful since I

started reading stories, poems, plays etc. I was not very much interested in reading stories,

poems, plays etc. But in school when I read “Hymanti” written by Rabindranath Tagore and

“Kobor” written by Munier Choudhury for the academic purpose I fell in love with literature.

Though now I do not have to read a lot for academic purpose I spend a lot of time reading stories,

poems, plays etc. Some people have specific taste regarding stories, writers but I do not have any

specific taste regarding that. I like to read any stories no matter who wrote the story or what types

of stories is this. I did not explore the English literature that much but I read a lot of stories from

Bengali literature. The writing style of Humaiun Ahmed, Jaffar Iqbal, Rabindranath Tagore etc.

attracts me the most. I read a lot of books by my own which includes Roktakto Prantor, Himu,

Amra gore kao nai, Dipu number 1, Ekattorer dinguli, The Alchemist etc. From stories, plays,

poems I really prefer reading stories. I face difficulties to understands plays, poems which makes

me unattracted to poems, plays etc.

I hope I can continue the journey of reading stories in future and can explore the unknown parts

of literature.
