Anatomy of a Flower
Kids can learn about the parts of a flower with this activity by dissecting the
flower.
Instructions:
• Let the kids start by tearing out the leaf of the flower.
• Ask them to tape it on the paper card.
• They can then proceed with the petals, stamen, pistil, sepal and stem.
• As they tear out each part, it has to be taped on the card.
• Explain that the powdery residue is the pollen.
• You can help them label the parts.
