WHEN AND HOW LONG?
• We would leave April 8th and come back on the 15th of April which is a full week, 2-
days of traveling and 5-days exploring the city.
•When we visit the climate would most likely be about 12 to 15 degrees Celsius or
53.6 to 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
WHY?
• Rome is home to many historical and architectural landmarks such as……
COLOSSEUM

• Colosseum: the largest amphitheater


ever built, it is used for entertaining
purposes, and in ancient Rome it was
used for Gladiatorial games.
PANTHEON

• Pantheon: a large temple dedicated to the


Roman gods but has since been taken over by
the catholic church.
ROMAN FORUM

• Roman Forum: a rectangle forum


surrounded by the ruins of the
important government buildings this is
in the center of Rome.
MONEY

• For every US dollar you would get .94


euros.
• So: 100 US dollars would be worth
94.04 euros
• In the US we use a dollar sign to
represent our money($).

• In all our trip should cost about:

OUR BAGS

• Italy has different outlets then we have so in


order to plug in your electronics you would need
to bring a plug adapter and a voltage
converter.
• Since the climate will be in the mid 50’s when
we visit we will have to bring light jackets,
pants, and long and short sleeve t-shirts.
• When you travel to Rome you also need
Passports, Visas, travel health insurance, an
itinerary, and a declaration of presence.
HEALTH/SAFETY

• The biggest thing to worry about in Rome is


losing your wallet or getting your wallet
pickpocketed.
• Also the number for 911 is 118.
FLIGHT

• We will be flying American airlines


• It will cost $1974.96 for our round trip
• The flight will last 14 hours and 25 minutes
approximately.
TRANSPORTATION

• Bus: $25.47 per person or $101.88 in all.

about 17-20 minutes from Rome’s city center.

• The Borghese Gallery is one of the best
galleries in Rome and is home to many beautiful
works of art. It also has a very beautiful
garden.

VATICAN MUSEUMS

• They are huge national attractions that welcome
millions of visitors a year and have miles of art,
sculptures, tapestries and mosaics on show by
some of the most famous Italian artists in history.

ST. PETER’S BASILICA

• St. Peter’s Basilica is an example of the brilliant
architecture of the ancient romans, The dome at
the top has a wonderful view of the city

PANTHEON

• It is an ancient temple dedicated to the Roman
gods, it has since been taken over by the roman
Catholics. It has a beautiful inside architecturally
mostly because of the giant dome that covers it.
