DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

Intro: DegreePlus is designed to help students develop transferable skills to fill the “skills
gap” which employers report they see in new graduates.

Q: How relevant is DegreePlus for:

o Graduate students
o Nontraditional undergraduates who have been in the workforce or military
o Online students who are out of the area

Intro: DegreePlus-tagged events (Level 1) have been held on-campus or in group trips (e.g.
alternative break service trips).

Q. What are the ways we might adapt DegreePlus to accommodate students who:

o Have very demanding schedules in their disciplines with little or no time for
attending extracurricular experiences
o Attend classes at Biltmore Park
o Take classes online
