At Kiker, we believe that the the language written here is not language we are comfortable using because we don’t set apart a particular group of people. For example, when we say we celebrate cultures we don’t label each one. Could we include the stats on bullying (GLSEN survey has good information) and suicide for students who are LGBTQ | see this as one inherent reason we need 2 Pride Week and consistent efforts to build safe, inclusive, welcoming schools for all students. | did reach out to one of the Social Service Specialists that { work closely with (last year we did @ MS and a HS suicide prevention lessons).
