Procedure:
(before class set up table and all instruments for demonstration)
Teacher will review brass family
Trumpet
Trombone
French Horn
Tuba
Teacher will move to woodwind family
Teacher will ask students what they know about the woodwind family
Teacher will explain the difference between a single reed and a double reed
Teacher will have students guess what instruments are shown
Teacher will show picture of bassoon to students (absent instrument)
Teacher will pass around reeds
Teacher will play each instrument
Teacher will ask students to describe the instrument
