VII. Issues or Problems the proposal seeks to address: N/A

VIII. Resources needed (budget, logistics, HR): N/A
IX. Options or alternatives, cost-benefit analysis or cost-effectiveness analysis: N/A
X. Scope and Implications: N/A
XI. 1) Finalize the Venue of the 20th ILC
Recommendation a) The most probable venue is the PICC because it is the cheapest of all the surveyed
places with a total estimate of 11,520,000.00 in rental and food expenses
2) The theme of the 20th ILC
a) It should highlight: Stop the transmission of leprosy, Decrease the disability and
Decrease the stigma of the disease.
3) Discuss the 20th ILC budget
a) The DOH cannot provide the initial fund this year for the down payment of the
venue because it was not included from the 2018 budget. Instead the DOH will
provide the fund this 2019 once included in the budget. It was agreed that the ILC
or any other willing NGOs would be the one to provide the funding for the
expenses this 2018.
b) The DOH will hire an event organizer by 2019 that will plan the event, print the
program of events and book of abstract and prepare the food. The organizer would
also be responsible for the mobilization and coordination between partner
organization
4) Initial payment for the PICC and the web developer
a) After deliberation, the ILC and the Culion foundation agreed to have a focused
meeting to discuss the possibility of the foundation providing the payment for the
PICC and web developer. It was also agreed that the expenses will be reimbursed
from the registration fees.
b) Another proposal was for the ILA to provide the payment for the PICC and the
web developer.
5) Excess funds from the registration fees
a) It would be allotted for local leprosy programs in our country.
6) The next meeting would be on June 5, 2018 8:00 am at the DPCB Conference Hall.
