Why me?

Who would have thought she would break my heart. It is so hard to describe how an
unknown person could change totally my life. Unfortunately, nothing was perfect, and I
knew that consequences of my wrong decisions were coming. The only one I could count
on was me in the end.

I have always had my life objectives clear. I used to be a perfect student worried about
studies and work. She was a mysterious girl. Nobody knew who was her but she got my
attention. She was totally opposite to me. It was usual to see her partying all the time and
rarely in classes. However, life has always been unpredictable and one day I met her. I
fell in love quickly. Her perfect imperfections caught me. I was not worried about my
studies and future anymore. She became my world.

Both she and I decided to give up the school. Everything was perfect, we used to spend
hours and hours making whatever. I dreamed all my life with her. Unfortunately, life has
never been perfect and problems were appearing. I was not working, consequently I had
no money. Besides, we used to fight all the time but that was not all!

It was April 21, we had had a fight as always or that I thought. And after that tiff, she
disappeared. I looked for her during 5 months. When I found her, she was in love to
another man. I had spent one year with her. I remember her last words: “I do not want to
be with you anymore, live your life and let me live mine”. After that, I let her go.

At the end, I just could thought: “live your life and don’t trust in anyone”.
