I would like to thank you for your letter which I received January 22, 2018.
I am glad to see that you and your co-workers are also concerned about the surge in stolen merchandise
at your location (Store 5085). I am aware of the current lack of closing coverage for your location and
have compiled a request to payroll and your regional manager in order to give you added time to have
an extra closing associate every night. I see no reason for my request to be denied, considering you are
the largest store in the region. In the meantime, consider these options. First begin register closures at
7:30pm, by taking 3 of the five registers, while you’re in the office have associates do a store walk
through and provide every customer with your best service. This will limit the amount of loss
merchandise because every guest is being taken care of.
